The standard shipping container – sometimes called a general purpose or GP container – is the most-supplied container in the world, and for good reason. It’s been refined across six decades of international shipping into a structurally exceptional, weatherproof, transportable, and stackable steel shell that handles almost any storage or transport job thrown at it.

Our standard containers are sourced from major shipping lines and held at our Perth depot in three sizes (10ft, 20ft, 40ft) and two condition grades (Premium Used and New 1-Trip). Every unit is wind-and-watertight on delivery, ISO 668 certified, and carries a current CSC plate for international shipping where required.

The 20ft is the most popular – it’s compact enough for residential driveways and tight construction sites, but spacious enough to hold a 3-bedroom home’s contents or serve as a functional workshop. The 40ft is the volume play – twice the capacity for marginal extra cost, ideal for bulk storage and modifications. The 10ft is the niche option – short, lightweight, and easy to position in tight spaces where the 20ft won’t fit.

For modifications, accommodation, or any customer-facing application, we recommend new (1-trip) containers – they’re factory-fresh and present cleanly. For pure storage, Premium Used delivers identical functionality at a lower price point.
