The 40ft dangerous goods container is the solution for high-volume chemical storage where compliance, capacity, and segregation all matter. It’s built in Perth to the same AS standards as the 20ft – AS 1940, AS 4326, AS 3780, AS 4332 – but scaled up for operations storing dozens of drums, IBCs, or bulk chemical inventory.

The bund is 2,400 litres – enough to contain a full IBC spill or multiple drum failures. Floor is sealed, welded steel, pressure-tested and certified. Cross-flow ventilation is engineered to the air-change rate required by the storage class, with intake vents low and exhaust vents high.

For mining and heavy-industrial customers, we build segregated configurations – separate cells for incompatible classes (acids and bases, oxidisers and flammables), with internal partitions, independent ventilation, and class-specific signage for each compartment. We also integrate shelving systems sized for IBCs or 200L drums, fire suppression where required, and emergency shower/eye-wash stations on adjacent skids.

Every unit ships with engineer-signed drawings, compliance certificates against the relevant AS standards, all mandatory hazard signage, and an MSDS folder. For large-volume storage triggering placarding obligations, we supply the full set of external placards rated to the substances being stored.
