The 12m container dome is the wide-span solution for operations that need serious covered storage without building a permanent structure. Two 40ft containers sit parallel at 12 metres apart, a heavy-duty galvanised steel truss spans the gap, and UV-resistant commercial fabric is tensioned over the frame. You get 144 square metres of covered storage – enough to park multiple vehicles, stack bulk materials three pallets deep, or shelter large plant and machinery.

The truss is engineered for the span – hot-dip galvanised steel, bolted to the containers via ISO corner castings, rated for wind loads up to Region C (cyclone upgrades available for Region D at +25-35%). The fabric is commercial-grade PVC or polyethylene, UV-stabilised, and tensioned to prevent sagging or flapping in high winds.

Setup takes two days. Position the containers, bolt the truss, tension the fabric, done. No permanent foundation required – the containers sit on level ground (compacted gravel or concrete pads recommended for long-term installations). The whole structure is relocatable – unbolt it, move the containers, reassemble at the new site.

Supplied & Installed (from $11,500) includes the dome structure, fabric, truss, all fixings, and installation labour. Cyclone rating upgrades are quoted separately.
