Why a Depot Matters

Most container suppliers don’t have a depot you can visit. They’re brokers or online resellers – orders go to a back-end somewhere, containers ship from wherever, and you find out what you actually bought when it arrives on your site. By then it’s too late to do anything except complain.

We run differently. Our Perth depot holds the actual stock we sell and hire. The 20ft you’re quoted, the 40ft high cube you’re modifying, the reefer you’re hiring for harvest – they’re sitting on the yard right now, and you can come look at them before any money changes hands. That single change to how container buying works eliminates most of what goes wrong in this industry.

What You Can Do at the Depot

Inspect specific stock before purchase

Tell us which container you’re considering, we’ll have it ready to look at when you arrive. Walk around it, open the doors, check the floor, look at the seals. Sign off in person.

Compare condition grades

See a Premium Used unit alongside a New 1-Trip. Understand exactly what cosmetic wear looks like and whether it matters for your application. Make the price-versus-condition call with the actual containers in front of you.

Talk through modifications

Look at completed modified units – site offices, ablution blocks, workshops – in finished state. Touch the materials, sit in the offices, see how the fit-out actually presents. Helps you specify your own build properly.

Watch a build in progress

Our modifications workshop adjoins the depot. Customers with modified builds underway are welcome to visit and see work in progress. Adjustments and variations get discussed face-to-face when something becomes obvious.

Pick up small purchases

Container accessories, lock boxes, ramps, shelving, vent kits, and door hardware are all stocked at the depot. Walk in, walk out with what you need.

Get advice without pressure

Drop in, ask questions, leave without committing. We don’t run quota-driven sales – the team are there to help you specify the right container, not to close you on the spot.

Address & Hours

Public holidays vary – call ahead.

Visiting for the First Time

Calling ahead is optional but helpful

Walk-ins are welcome during business hours. If you’re coming to inspect a specific container or check a modified unit, calling ahead means we can have it positioned and ready for you. Saves you waiting while we move stock around.

Allow 20–45 minutes

A standard inspection visit takes 20–30 minutes for a single container. Comparing multiple options or talking through a modification build typically takes 45 minutes to an hour. We don’t rush these conversations – getting the spec right matters more than getting you out the door.

What to bring

If you’ve been quoted a specific unit, bring the quote reference. If you’re scoping a modification, bring any drawings, photos, or briefs you’ve got. If you’re working to a site spec, bring the spec sheet. The more we’ve got to work with, the better the advice.

Transport for taking it home

Containers don’t go home on a ute. Delivery is arranged for collection – we coordinate transport from depot to your site. The depot visit is for inspection and sign-off, not pickup.

On-site amenities

Customer parking on site. Bathroom facilities available. Coffee and water for visitors. The team are happy to talk through technical questions over a sit-down rather than out in the yard if the weather’s not cooperating.

Regional & Remote Customers

Most of our regional and remote customers don’t visit the depot – distance makes it impractical for someone in Karratha or Esperance to drive down for an inspection. For those customers we offer:

Detailed photos on request

Peak-season inventory that doesn’t justify permanent warehouse expansion. Containers deploy in days, hold the volume through peak, and either stay or get collected when demand normalises.

Video walkarounds

For higher-value units and modified builds, we’ll record video walkarounds covering specific aspects you want to inspect. Useful for compliance documentation or for sharing with project teams remotely.

Third-party inspection

For very high-value purchases or where independent verification matters, we can coordinate with third-party inspectors visiting the depot on your behalf.

Pre-delivery sign-off

Photo and video sign-off is captured in writing before dispatch. The same accountability applies – if the unit doesn’t match what was supplied for sign-off, we replace it.

Modifications Workshop

The modifications workshop is part of the depot operation. Customers with builds in progress are welcome to visit and watch work happen. For complex projects, we schedule milestone inspections so you can sign off on framing, electrical rough-in, finishes, and final fit-out at the right stages.

The workshop runs Monday to Friday 7am–5pm. Workshop visits for projects in progress are by appointment – call your account manager to schedule. Casual depot visits don’t require an appointment.
